Back to School!
With the easing of the omicron wave and relaxation of the restriction life is slowly getting back to normal. Our school also opened it’s door to welcome the children back after a long break of almost two years. The teachers put in a lot of efforts to make the school look welcoming at the same time taking precaution to keep the environment safe and sanitised. Their biggest reward was seeing the smile on the faces who were equally happy and excited to get back to school. Indeed a memorable reopening for Pragati Kendra’s Meera vidyalaya.
Our Extraordinary Students
The persistent efforts of the teachers and students of Meera Vidyalaya has earned them international fame. No less than 3 of our students have won medals in international sporting events. Many others have achieved a level of independence that was believed to be impossible for them.

Our FOUNDER'S VISION
Smt. Shakuntala Athalye was a mother of a Mentally Challenged daughter. Meera, her daughter, insisted on attending school like her peers. To fulfill Meera’s dream, Smt. Athalye started ‘Meera Vidyalaya’ on 23rd April 1978, under the umbrella of Pragati Kendra with the foresight of helping many more of such children.
