OUR ACTIVITIES
We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to grow, express, and thrive. Our center is not only a place for counseling and support, but also a vibrant space where individuals are encouraged to explore their full potential through a range of developmental activities. These activities are thoughtfully designed to support mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being. We provide both counselling and teaching support to encourage all-round development through engaging activities like Yoga, Arts and Crafts, Sports, Dance, Music, and Dramatics. These programs help enhance creativity, confidence, physical fitness, and emotional well-being. We are also proud of our Vocational Training Centre for intellectually disabled adults, which has successfully completed 17 years. Currently, 15 adults are being trained in life skills and vocational activities, empowering them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

Physical Fitness
Yoga is an integral part of our activity plan. It enhances flexibility, concentration, and emotional balance. With simple breathing techniques and gentle movements, participants experience calmness, increased focus, and overall physical wellness.
It also promotes mindfulness, helping individuals stay present and reduce everyday stress. Regular practice fosters a deeper connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Creative Arts & Crafts
Through painting, drawing, collage making, and craft activities, our participants explore their creativity, improve fine motor skills, and gain a sense of achievement. These sessions also offer therapeutic benefits, allowing emotional expression in a safe and constructive environment.
Engaging in art encourages imagination and boosts self-esteem as individuals bring their ideas to life.

Our programs are thoughtfully curated to help individuals understand, express, and manage their emotions in a safe and supportive environment. By nurturing mental and emotional wellness, we empower individuals to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, compassion, and clarity.

Joy of Movement
At Pragatikendra, we celebrate the joy of movement as a powerful way to boost physical health, emotional well-being, and social connection. Our structured physical activity programs are designed to encourage every individual—regardless of ability—to move freely, have fun, and stay active. These dynamic activities not only support physical fitness but also play a vital role in building confidence, focus, and emotional balance.

Confidence Through Performance
Drama and role-play activities allow individuals to build communication skills, confidence, and emotional awareness. Through storytelling, miming, and stage plays, participants learn how to express themselves and connect with others in a fun, supportive setting.
Regular involvement in drama fosters teamwork and helps overcome stage fear or social anxiety.

Dance
Dance sessions help participants express themselves freely while improving rhythm, balance, and motor coordination. The joy of movement through music lifts spirits and builds self-confidence.
Music
Music has a powerful impact on emotional and cognitive development. Whether it’s singing, playing basic instruments, or simply listening to music together, this activity promotes relaxation, rhythm, and social bonding.
