Glimpses from Pragati Kendra

Here is a collection of memories, achievements, progress, courage and so much more that has built and shaped the students and the staff of Pragati Kendra.

Back to School!

With the easing of the omicron wave and relaxation of the restriction life is slowly getting back to normal. Our school also opened it’s door to welcome the children back after a long break of almost two years. The teachers put in a lot of efforts to make the school look welcoming at the same time taking precaution to keep the environment safe and sanitised. Their biggest reward was seeing the smile on the faces who were equally happy and excited to get back to school. Indeed a memorable reopening for Pragati Kendra’s Meera vidyalaya.

Visit from the Suri Family

Ganesh Celebrations

Last year, our students celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi from their homes. They made Ganesh idols and decorated them beautifully. Every year, we encourage our students to make different Ganesh idols to celebrate the festival of togetherness.

Children also celebrated Mother’s Day by paying due respect to their mothers and thanking them for their love, care and dedication.

Old is Gold

Ever since its establishment, Meera Vidyalaya has sought to encourage the holistic development of its students. Here are some photographs of our students participating in various activities from our early days.

From the Outdoors

We believe that physical activities contribute greatly to the overall development of our students. We regularly hold sports events, organise camps and take the students to nearby parks as well.

Fun Times in the Classroom

At Meera Vidyalaya our students learn a lot through a specially designed curriculum. They do activities that help develop all aspects of their personality.

Annual Days & Festival Celebrations

Students at Meera Vidyalaya set up performances for annual day every year. The teachers help the students with dance, plays and more. We encourage the parents of the students to participate as well. Festivals are also celebrated at Meera Vidyalaya with equal gusto. Children are given special treats and activities are held as well.

The New Normal

The COVID-19 pandemic has not spared anyone from its clutches, including the students of our school. However, our teachers have put in a great deal of efforts to shift the classes to an online format. Students continue to learn, do activities and participate in fun games through these virtual classrooms.
